Cork BNI Members Celebrate generating €25million in business

Three Cork networking groups have successfully generated €25million in business in 5 years with the help of BNI Ireland. The Cork City, Leeside and Cork South Chapters of BNI who meet each week in locations throughout Cork city are among the country's top performing networking groups with members acting as a sales force for each other by passing new business and giving referrals. All three Chapters consist of 70 local businesses spanning all sectors who support 695 jobs in and around the Cork city area with more new jobs expected to be created among them in the coming months. Speaking of the achievement of the three chapters, Sean McCarthy,(Cork South Chapter Director) said “2014 has been an incredible year to date for our members more business being passed this year in comparison to 2013. Over the past five years our members have consistently proven that working together yields amazing results and that with positivity and drive you can not only meet your goals but exceed them. Although the generation of new business is a driving factor for members, so too is the support available among each group which you cannot put a monetary value on." Also speaking of the success of the three Cork groups, Sandra Hart, Executive Director of BNI, Ireland South and West said "I am hugely proud of the achievements of our Cork members who are having one of the most successful years to date. They have worked extremely hard to reach the €25million milestone and I hope they will continue to grow long in to the future." BNI welcomes all business people to come to a meeting as a guest.
