Cork's Leeside BNI Generate €13Million Worth of Business

Seventeen Cork business people are celebrating the generation of €13million worth of new business in less than 7 years. The Leeside BNI group are also marking the milestone by returning to Cork's main business district, the South Mall for their weekly Wednesday morning meetings in the Imperial Hotel. The Leeside Chapter consists of a number of local businesses including an accountant, a solicitor, a builder, a cleaning company and a planning consultant among others. Members support over 500 jobs in the region with this set to grow in the coming months thanks to new business wins. The group have already generated over €330,000 worth of business this year alone. All members of the Leeside chapter work together to generate new business and increase their bottom line which also drives the local economy. Each member benefits from BNI's unique referral system which is similar to having dozens of sales people working as part of your team, whose role is to refer contacts and business within their group. Speaking of the group’s achievement John Reynolds, financial advisor and Chapter President said “We are extremely proud to have generated €13million in business since 2009 which is no small feat when you think about the challenging times we have been through. Each of us is committed to not only growing our own business but also contributing to the continued growth of our local Cork economy. Being a member of this group has shown that when local businesses work together they become hugely important to the area. We are also delighted to bring our meetings to the South Mall, Cork city's premier business district, which is on the cusp of a new era with major regeneration and exciting new business prospects. He continued, “Although we all come from different backgrounds we all have one thing in common and that is that we want to build better businesses for ourselves and our customers and the comraderie we share also plays an important element in our success. We are looking forward to many more years of success for the Leeside Chapter and would encourage anyone who is interested in growing their business to come along as a visitor to one of our meetings in our new home at the Imperial Hotel on the South Mall”. Also speaking of the success of The Leeside Chapter, Dan Cronin of BNI Ireland South said "I am hugely proud of the achievements of the Leeside members who are proof that by working together amazing things can be achieved. It is easy for business owners to get lost in the daily routine and forget to work on the business rather than in it but BNI allows them the space and support to realise their true potential. Each member has worked extremely hard to reach such a milestone and I hope they will continue to do so long in to the future. BNI welcomes all business people to come to a meeting as a guest.
